The goal scored by Osaze Peter Odemwingie in
the 28th minute of the game took the African
Champion close to the next round of the
competition.
Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan could
not hide his excitement as he watched the nail-
biting match with a host of aides, including
Reuben Abati, the Special Adviser to the President
on Media and Publicity, at the Aso Rock Villa
cheering the team to victory.
