Court Orders for the Seizure of Obasanjors Book

A High Court siting in Abuja has ordered the Nigeria Police as well as the Customs to seize ‘MY WATCH’, a book by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Justice Valentine Ashi in her verdict on Wednesday said Obasanjo disobeyed the court order by publishing the book after he was told not to.

As i said: “I am of the view that the defendant having gone ahead to publish the book, he should therefore show cause within 21 days of the order served on him on why he should not be punished for contempt of court.

“The Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of State Security Services and the Controller General of Nigeria Customs Services are hereby directed to recover the book from sales vendors.”

The judge further directed that the book should be kept with the registrar of the court pending the determination of the suit.

Earlier, counsel to Obasanjo, Realwan Okpanachi, had told the court that the book was published before the order was granted.

He argued that the book had been in circulation since November and the order was made on December 5.

Is Tiwa forgetting her Husband?

Tiwa Savage and Patoranking put out quite a performance last weekend at the Channel O Music Video Awards last weekend in South Africa.
The two music stars got the audience screaming out loud with the rendition of their hit track ‘ Girlie O ’ remix.
Recall that there was no body contact between them in the official musical video of the track, however, Patoranking didn’t go easy on Tiwa this time. Both stars got cozy and cozier… and then the MAVIN queen kinda gave him a lap dance.
Last night, pop diva, Tiwa Savage won the Most Gifted Female award at the 2014 Channel O Music Video Awards which held in South Africa yesterday after being nominated in the same
category for 3 years in a row.
In her acceptance speech, Tiwa Savage, who had earlier delivered a classic performance of ‘Girlie O’ remix with Patoranking, was grateful to God for winning the award, saying she would have cried if she didn’t win.
The Mavin first lady went on to give special shout out to 323 Entertainment and Don Jazzy of Mavin Records but somehow forgot to mention her husband, T Billz who also didn’t accompany
her to the stage as he usually does.
Just the day after, her fans have been calling her out on Twitter, insinuating that the reports of rancour in her marriage are indeed true.
